What if it rains?+
Light rain or cloudy weather won’t stop us. We adapt the route, the light and the experience. In severe weather, we’ll move the experience indoors whenever possible. If circumstances beyond our control make the service impossible, we’ll discuss a solution with you.
Can I get the RAW files?+
Yes. We provide the RAW files corresponding to your final professionally retouched portraits: up to 20 for the 3-hour experience, or 40 for the 8-hour experience. RAW files from the other photographs taken during the experience are not included.
Can we eat together?+
Of course. We can recommend food we enjoy and join you for a taste of local life. Meals are not included in the experience price. If we stop for food together during the trip, everyone simply covers their own meal. We don’t promise a particular restaurant.
Can you pick me up?+
Private transportation during the experience is included. Pickup from a hotel in central Chongqing can be discussed in advance. Airport pickups, distant hotels and special transfers require separate arrangements and may cost extra.
Can I change my booking?+
The 30% deposit is generally non-refundable. With at least 72 hours’ notice, you can reschedule once at no charge, subject to availability. With less than 72 hours’ notice, cancellation or rescheduling forfeits the deposit. Any further rescheduling after the one free change must be agreed separately.
How long does delivery take?+
All finished photographs are delivered within 10 business days after the experience. We aim to send your phone-recorded behind-the-scenes clips within about 24 hours whenever possible. Each vertical clip is approximately 10–15 seconds and is supplied as original footage, without editing.
Can you photograph more than 3 people?+
Yes. The standard experiences are for 1–3 guests. For four or more people, email us your group size and we’ll arrange a custom quote, including suitable transportation.
Can we stay longer?+
Yes, subject to our availability. An additional hour is US$89 and includes 5 additional editorial-grade professionally retouched portraits, 20 professionally color-graded photos and approximately 2 more vertical behind-the-scenes clips. Each clip is about 10–15 seconds, supplied without editing.
How do payments work?+
A 30% deposit secures your date after we confirm availability. The remaining 70% is due before the experience begins. We’ll agree the details and share payment instructions by email after confirming availability. No payment is taken on this website.
Do I need to know how to pose?+
No. Hill will guide you through the photographs, and we’ll adapt the pace and locations to how you feel on the day.
